I am a 9th-11th grade Social Studies teacher at the International high School at Sharpstown in Houston, TX. I am enjoying my time with all my crazy freshmen and cannot wait to interact with them on our discussion boards and blogs!
I've been teaching for five years, and began my career as a pre-K teacher in Pittsburgh. I have a great love for travel, and took advantage of many study abroad opportunities in college. I LOVE taking students abroad, and am excited that we will have several going to China this summer.
I will be traveling myself this summer to Egypt on an educator's Fulbright-hays scholarship.
