In my spare time I:
In my spare time, I usually listen to music and make music. I also learn about new applications that are part of the Adobe Suite of applications and Apple applications such as Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro. At other times, I usually watch shows like Homes Inspection on DIY Channel and Mayday on Discovery Channel. These shows are both intriguing and actually teach information that I don't know about. Frankly, at other times, I don't do anything in my spare time. Sometimes, it's important to just take a break and not do anything. By doing so, I am able to give myself some time to think.

Things that make me happy:
A lot of things make me happy, such as friends, good grades and music. Friends often bring happiness to my life because they always have some way to create laughter. They either cause it through a joke or by doing something stupid. Like everyone else, good grades make me happy and relieved. After working hard and learning something, it pays off to get a good mark. A good grade always fulfills my goal of working to my highest potential to achieve the best. Another thing that makes me happy is music. Not everyone would perceive music in the same way, but music often triggers various emotions. Some songs create a very happy mood, while other create a depressing one. Either way, they are harmonic and melodious to listen to.
This that make me sad:
Although there are several things that would make me sad, there's one thing that particularly makes me sad. When I am being made fun of or ridiculed by other students, I typically feel affected and hurt in some way. Although I don't show how I feel by individuals, I feel it internally. Otherwise, I usually don't feel anything; I don't feel happy or sad, just neutral. It's a weird to say, but I guess I could consider "neutral" as a feeling.

When I grow up I want to be:
Since grade 4, I have always wanted to be an architect in the future and I was always very sure of this decision. However, my plans changed after finishing grade 9. High school is the perfect time to be thinking about what you want to do in the future. It's a time to determine difficulties and strengths. Thanks to high school, I have realized that I am not capable of working as an architect. I believe that I don't have enough school to be an architect. Moreover, I am not too passionate about the job of an architect anymore. My love for architecture suddenly changed after the first year of high school. Now, as I'm in grade 10, I'm struggling to determine a career that will suite me and interest me. I know some of my strengths and weaknesses, but I still can't determine a possible career. Time will eventually determine my career and strengths.

If I could recommend one page on the Internet to visit, I would recommend:
One page I would recommend to everyone in the world is Khan Academy. Although I am not a frequent user of Khan Academy, it is definitely one of the best sites to brush up on any skills or review concepts that are learnt in class. Although teachers at school do an exceptional job at teaching course material, Khan Academy offers a wide selection of videos that can be used to either review or learn new things. It is definitely one of the best online tutors in a way.

About Me |
My name is Janujan Gathieswaran and I am from David Suzuki Secondary School. From a little age, I always had an interest in construction and architecture. Essentially, I always liked working with structures and designing houses on CAD software. I don't exactly know what I want to be in the future, but definitely something in the engineering field. In my spare time, I typically work with Logic Pro X and other applications such as After Effects and Photoshop. Moreover, I like to learn and explore new things. My favourite subjects are math and science and I will most likely follow a career path that encompasses both these subjects. I typically work to my best and I could be considered an "overachiever."
